Students Selected to Participate in Wreath Laying Ceremony
Students from Charles P. Murray will be heading to Washington, D.C. in April. As a part of the trip 4 students will participate in one of the wreath laying ceremonies to honor fallen soldiers. 30 students entered essays in response to the prompt: "Why is the wreath laying important to you and what does it mean for our Country ?" The students with the top four essays were selected to lay the wreath at the ceremony. Based on the quality of their writing and the depth of their own personal connection to the military students Bailey Swails, Kenzie Farr, Barrett Bailey, and Hayden Martin were chosen as the winners of this opportunity.
