Sea Perch Team Wins at New Bern!

Saturday, March 16th started with a long bus ride to New Bern for a dedicated group of students who participate in the Sea Perch Mastery. This is the second competition the Sea Perch Teams have participated in and this time paid off with a big win. For the first time Murray will have a team heading to Nationals! 

Sea Perch students have to design and build an underwater remote operated vehicle and then guide it through a series of tasks at competition. The theme this year is Mission: Rescue and Recovery. The students won in the categories of Overall Time and Obstacle Course. 

The National Sea Perch Competition will be held in the Washington, D.C. area during the first week of June this year.
