Murray Students Participate in National History Day

Ms. Summerlin's 6th grade students competed at the state level for National History Day in Raleigh over the weekend. The competition theme for 2018-19 was "Triumph & Tragedy in History." The competition required students to look at historical events from multiple perspectives. In order to compete at the state level, students had to qualify at the Regional Competition which was held March 5th. Maya Roseboro won in the Medicine category.
