The annual Junior Eastern Regional Orchestra (JERO) auditions were held virtually this year. Students worked for about a month and a half preparing and recording. JERO is an event where orchestra programs from the eastern side of the state send their top students to audition for a spot in the orchestra. Those that win seats will go on to participate in a clinic and concert held in Jacksonville, NC on May 7th.
Murray had the highest number of students win seats in our district for the 4th year in a row and the top number for all of eastern NC for the 2nd year in a row! We are proud to announce that for the first time Murray had three 6th grade students audition and win seats! Please join us in congratulating the following students:
