Charles P. Murray awarded a Solar Panel

Murray Middle School has been awarded the 2019 NC GreenPower Solar Schools grant. This grant will fund a three kilowatt solar photovoltaic (PV) system for Murray and valuable environmental educational tools for our staff. Mr. Roth and Dr. Ledbetter worked with Ms. Valjean Estes, NHCS Energy Manager, to put the grant together. Along with the Solar Panel the school will receive a weather station, real-time monitoring, curriculum from NEED.org and training for teachers.
